Company description:

TripService is a joint venture between 2Ways and BeSite. It is the combination of over 20 years of creating internet-based solutions and traffic knowledge and experience using both open and closed data (e.g. Waze). This allows us to combine complex data sources into easy-to-use dashboards within a range of applications. The solutions we create for our clients encapsulate the key concepts of insight, analysis and guidance.

Many of our services make use of Waze and Google Maps, giving us over 75% coverage of the Dutch navigation market.

Event Traffic Dashboard

Knowing how traffic is moving and the measures needed to direct it helps traffic flow smoothly around roadworks or on the way to events. The Event Traffic Dashboard helps in this respect by drawing on various data sources from governments and navigation system users.

By closely monitoring inbound and outbound traffic routes and being able to implement your scenarios and accompanying traffic management measures immediately, you can make sure event visitors and passers-by keep moving. If you combine this with the management features available in virtually all navigation systems through our Traffic Reportal or the Waze Community, then you have a unique palette of options to ensure the free flow of traffic.

The dashboard can be extended by the addition of the ‘Historical data’ module. This saves the displayed data for a set period of time, revealing any trends and allowing incidents to be analysed afterwards. This helps set out future courses of action and facilitates the making of policy decisions.

Traffic Reportal

Using our Event Traffic Dashboard or Roadwork Traffic Dashboard, we can display all kinds of linked data sources, giving the user clear insight into the situation on the road and the traffic flow along pre-set routes. But how do you also make sure you can influence road users? To do so requires a direct connection to the navigation systems. We offer this link with the Traffic Reportal.

With Traffic Reportal you can easily create the road closure yourself, after which you can send it directly to almost any navigation system at the push of a button. This lets you immediately send your information to over 45% of navigation users in the Netherlands, even rising to over 50% in Flanders.

This not only helps you to get your information to where it’s needed, it also makes for more reliable navigation, while increasing safety on the roads. Road users are proactively diverted along suitable roads around road closures, and receive alerts about road workers and traffic controllers.
